Should I send thank you letter to interviewer via email or regular mail?

Yesterday I interviewed at a private school, and met with the principal, 2 asst. prinicipals, and the science department head. With lack of better description...it is my dream teaching job. I think it went pretty well. I asked a few questions, and the principal said he liked one of the questions I asked b/c no one ever asked it before. Should I send the thank you letter via email or regular mail? Or should I drop it off so the secretary can put it in their staff mailbox? I just want to make the best impression to put me in front of the other candidates. (There are 4 of us applying for the position) ANy help? Thank you :)

Should I send thank you letter to interviewer via email or regular mail?
When I was interviewing for teaching jobs I always wrote the principal a thank you note right after the interview..I sent it through regular mail....I really think it is very professional....also....hand write the thank you note! I do remember my principal now thanking me for the note after I got the job. Good Luck...I hope you get it!!
Reply:A handwritten, sincere thank you note is always the most appropriate way to say thank you.
Reply:E-mail or drop it off - whichever you can do today. Just make sure that if you e-mail it you make it as formal as you would if it was a paper letter.
Reply:The most important thing is to get the spelling right. I know people who do a cull on applications by discarding all those with a spelling error and then looking at the rest.
Reply:Other than your interview (which was in person), did most of the communication take place via email or over the phone? If you mostly communicated via email, then I think it is fine to send a thank you via email. However, if most of the communication was via phone or in person, then I think it requires a mailed or dropped off thank you. Also, were these people really professional or was it more laid back? If more laid back, email thank you is fine. Good Luck!
Reply:A handwritten Thank you note should be dropped off or mailed as soon as possible.

Good Luck to you
